Ragging is an offence under A.P. Prohibition of Ragging Act 1997, punishable by six months to seven years imprisonment. Abettors will also face similar punishment.



National Service Scheme was started on 24th September, 1969. The NSS Unit of our College is always in the forefront to render services to the Society thus fulfilling the aims & ideas of our Father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi. The cardinal principle of the N.S.S. programme is commitment to social service their motto being ‘Not Me But You’. The students and teachers come together in the cause of social service and this activity helps them in realizing their potential. 450 volunteers are working in the three units of N.S.S. in the College. They participate in youth festivals conducted by different universities. N.S.S. volunteers actively participate in a special camp programme in which they adopt a village and work for its development.
