Ragging is an offence under A.P. Prohibition of Ragging Act 1997, punishable by six months to seven years imprisonment. Abettors will also face similar punishment.

Dr. Pendli Ashlesha has done her Bachelor of Science (Nutrition) from Andhra University, India and Master of Science (Foods and Nutrition) and Doctorate in Philosophy (Ph. D.) in Food and Nutrition from Nagpur University, Nagpur, Maharashtra, India. She was an awardee of University research studentship by the scholarship fellowship selection committee, Nagpur University from 1994-1996. She has got 23 years of experience in the field of research and academics. She was associated with several Research projects funded by APCOST, ICAR and Rajiv Gandhi Drinking Water Mission. She has several books and booklets published to her credit. She has published 15 research papers in the reputed Indian journals and presented above 100 research papers in the oral and poster sessions of various national conferences. She is teaching Ph. D.,Post graduate, P G Diploma and U G students, in the various areas of Nutrition. She is a member of various academic bodies, administrative bodies and a subject expert in Nutrition. She is a life member of NSI, IDA and AFSTI. She is an Organising secretary, Chair person and resource person in various national conferences and a resource person in an international conference. She is also involved in Initiating, Organizing and Participating in on-campus and off-campus Conferences, workshops, seminars, exhibitions, nutrition education camps and competitions related to Food, Nutrition and Dietetics.

N. Santoshi has been teaching for under graduate and post graduate students in the disciplines of Nutritional Biochemistry, Human Physiology, Nutrition and Dietetics Food Safety for the past couple of years. She is the co-investigator of a minor research project sanctioned by APCOST. She is pursuing her Ph.D work holds a Master’s Degree in Nutrition and dietetics from University College for Women, Osmania University, Hyderabad. She has worked for MNC,s GE ( General Electeical company) and Genpact as Food Vigilance officer and EHS officer, after her postgraduation during which she worked to raise the standards of food catering sectors in Hyderabad and Secunderabd in Andhra Pradesh State and was associated with an NGO, Consumer Health Foundation as an activist for a First ever comprehensive Food Safety Programme called Surakshit Aahaar Sabka Adhikaar and brought many food outlets under the umbrella of safe food zones.she Worked as a Nutritionist and also associated with 3H- project (Hunger, hygiene and Health project) funded by Rotary International for immunizing school children with Hepatitis –B vaccine and supplementation of Vitamin A,D, and B-complex and Protein powder and also health education programme for mothers in R.R District of Andhra Pradesh

Ms. Shruti kabra has done her Bachelor of Science (Nutrition and Food Technology) and Master of Science (Nutrition and Dietetics) from Osmania University College for women, Koti, Hyderabad and received a rolling trophy for securing highest marks in Nutrition in graduation. Presently pursuing Ph.D in Nutrition from Osmania University. Passed UGC net exam (lectureship) and Registered Dietician exam in 2010. Presently working as Assistant Professor (c) working at Osmania University College for women as assistant professor (c) from august 2011 till date. Has also worked at Osmania University College for women as a part time lecturer for 2 years. She is a member of BOS for UG course in Nutrition in OUCW. Involved in Initiation, Organization and Participation in on-campus and off campus workshops, seminars, exhibitions, nutrition education camps and competitions related to Food, Nutrition and Dietetics. Developed Diet charts for Normal and Therapeutic diets. Has a booklet published to her credit. Guided students for their Internship in various hospitals. Presented various research papers in the poster sessions of various national conferences. She has Secured highest marks in Food and Nutrition and was awarded Dr. Zubaida Azeem Rolling Trophy award. During her studies she represented college in chess (2) and carom (6) in Inter College tournaments and won first prize during her graduation and post graduation. Also Represented College in N.C.C and secured ‘B’ grade in B-Certificate. Participated in “Polio Drops Program.”

Mrs. P. Suma, working has a teaching experience of four years and also worked as a Dietician in a diabetic clinic. She teaches both UG and PG courses in the field of Food Safety and Quality Control, Public Health Food Technology, Community Nutrition, Clinical Nutrition, Food Service Management, Nutrition in Health and Advance Nutrition. She is a member of BOS for UG course in Nutrition in OUCW. She presented papers at national level conferences at Indian Dietetic Association and Nutrition Society of India. She has developed “Food Science manual” for postgraduate students and also a booklet “Oats Delights for Healthy Life” for the general public. She is involved in various activities like workshops, exhibitions, guest lectures, nutrition education camps, recipe contest, Educationalists and also recreation tours for the students. She participated in two-day’s workshop at people’s plaza.
